Lyft Media’s vision is to build the largest transportation media network. We leverage media to elevate the transportation experience for our users while building an exciting and sustainable advertising business. Our primary media assets focus on digital advertising within the Lyft app, including traditional mobile units, sponsorship opportunities, and bespoke brand activations, along with additional experiential offerings.

As a Lyft Media Sales Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support for our sales teams and leaders. This includes the strategic management of deal desk opportunities within Salesforce (SFDC), driving sales insights for our executive and sales leadership teams, and taking strategic ownership of operational enhancements related to our sales processes and tech stack. You will also oversee the administration of compensation plans, ensuring the accurate calculation of variable compensation, and provide strategic guidance and support to existing Sales Ops team members. 

To excel in this role, you will partner cross-functionally across the business, working closely with Sales, Analytics, Legal, CRM Engineering, Accounting, and Operations to align sales operations with business objectives. This role requires a strong background in operations and sales enterprise tools, expertise in crafting business process documentation, experience in developing and administering sales compensation programs, and in-depth CRM knowledge, particularly with Salesforce. Previous experience in media and advertising is preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Mentor the Sales Operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth 
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance sales operations and drive business growth
  • Oversee the preparation, calculation and distribution of sales team quarterly variable compensation
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process flow inefficiencies, and work closely with Sales Ops stakeholders to drive strategic solutions and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Monitor and support processes within enterprise tools and systems, including Salesforce, to support sales activities. Ensure the effective use of these tools to drive data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and provide insights to senior leadership. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance sales productivity and effectiveness
  • Ad hoc sales operations tasks as needed

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in Sales Operations, background in advertising sales operations or marketing is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort diving deep into data to surface insights and drive informed decision making
  • Extensive experience managing and optimizing sales operations tools, including IronClad and Salesforce; Salesforce certification is a plus
  • Well versed in Google suite (docs, sheets, slides)
  • Meticulous attention to detail, the ability to dive into the technical or legal weeds is a must
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule β€” Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $88,000 - $110,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
