What you'll do at Maven

Maven is looking for an outstanding Equities Analyst to join its Hong Kong based investment team. We are seeking someone who can deliver clear valuation analysis which incorporates a fundamental understanding of the company in question and the industry within which it operates, overlaid with an awareness of broader industry, market and macroeconomic dynamics which may impact future valuation. The candidate will be expected to form their own views in the presence of information that is being presented by corporates, sell-side analysts and other market sources.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Specific responsibilities will include preparing and attending corporate and analyst meetings; analysing companies, build models and enhance relationships with corporates, internal and external stakeholders. 

 
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

• Bachelor's Degree in related field 
• 3+ years’ experience covering equity research in Asia within buyside or sellside environment 
• Strong research acumen, with excellent modelling and valuation skills
• A proven ability to generate a high throughput of valuation views through a robust and repeatable process
• A high-level of attention-to-detail
• Performs well in high pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills 
• Japanese language skills highly desirable
