Flow Traders is looking for a Product Controller with a focus on Digital Assets to join our Operations and Control team in our Amsterdam office. In this role, you will ensure complete and accurate financial administration and reporting of all Digital Assets related trading activities, through design, implementation and execution of standard operating procedures and controls such as the product approval process. You will also be highly involved in the monthly and quarterly closing processes from a first-line control and Operations perspective.

What you will do

• Design, implement and execute standard operating procedures and control frameworks such as a product approval process that ensures that the financial architecture and control frameworks can accept and process the new traded products
• Take high responsibility in the monthly and quarterly closing processes from a Digital Assets Operations and Control perspective. Provide overview to management of all open information requests, priorities and any potential issues identified
• Collection, review and presentation of key financial data and provisioning to internal and external stakeholders such as management, the Finance department and internal/external audit
• Support in daily operational activities such as investigating trade reconciliation breaks
• Recognized as the subject matter expert for product control activities within the first-line of defense

What you need to succeed

• Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant financial services working experience as a financial/business/product controller or in internal or external audit
• RA/RC/CPA is a strong plus
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a hands-on approach
• Excellent understanding of financial statements and financial analysis techniques
• Understanding of the (high-frequency) trading industry and its market dynamics; Affinity with Digital Assets is a strong plus
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
• Strong Excel skills and working experience with SQL and/or BI solutions is a strong-plus
