Job Description – Account Director
Job SummaryThe Account Director is responsible for leadership and overall management of the client relationship. This role is responsible for collaborating and inspiring teams to provide great work for clients across multiple marketing channels for our clients. Being the face of the agency, the AD should embody and represent the company both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
· Build strong, impenetrable client relationships and trains their team to do the same
· Lead strategy discussions with client to determine goals/objectives (establishing clear KPIs)
· Manage efforts to deliver these KPIs on time and on budget
· Demonstrate financial acumen in scoping, burn vs actual reporting, campaign reporting, and QBRs
· Collaborate with agency partners to ensure creative cohesion across channels
· Possess an in-depth understanding of client business issues, industry, competitors and brands
· Attune to the evolving needs of clients
· Mentor, develop and implement career paths and development plans for their account team and for team members across disciplines
· Exceptional in leading both clients and internal agency teams by using clear communication, identifying, and exploring consumer and business insights, with masterful listening skills that allow for synthesizing information into actionable direction
Qualifications
· 10+ years of agency experience
· 7+ years of strong strategy and creative development experience on campaigns delivered via digital and traditional media integrations
· 8+years of supervisory experience
· Servant leader mindset
· Proven success in leading multiple accounts, concurrently
· Demonstrates our agency values
· Experience in new business, healthcare, and government accounts a plus
Special Position Requirements: Regular travel to client will be required.
