About the Role:

We are looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our Finance team. You will be a crucial part of shaping metrics-driven decision making at a rapidly growing startup. Your role will include heavy cross-functional collaboration with executives and visibility into the most important decisions we’re making as a company. You will report to the Director of Strategic Finance and will be located in our New York City or San Fransisco office.

What You Will Do:

• Serve as the trusted partner for Product & Engineering leaders by delivering strategic insights through forecasting, scenario analysis and business case development
• Develop robust financial models to forecast and analyze the performance of our products, ensuring alignment between financial objectives and product strategy
• Establish and manage key metrics underpinning product revenue and profitability, partnering with Data team on dashboards for reporting and surfacing actionable insights
• Partner with cross-functional business leaders to prepare data-driven recommendations on incremental investment opportunities
• Collaborate across teams to drive implementation of high priority initiatives and continuously drive process improvements, standardization, simplification, and reporting enhancements
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed to support the finance team and company's strategic objectives. This may include evaluating potential M&A and strategic partnerships, including conducting due diligence and financial analyses

About You:

• 5+ years of experience including strategic finance or FP&A at a fast-paced, scaling company coupled with experience in investment banking, private equity or consulting
• Demonstrated ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights and critically evaluate risks and opportunities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives using data
• Expert financial modeling skills, including building detailed product P&Ls and operating models
• Proven ability to collaborate and establish relationships with business partners

Have previous Strat Fin experience, preferably from an infrastructure software company or consumption-based business model

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $152,000-$228,000.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside New York may be adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
