This person will be responsible for managing our risk management processes including the production of monthly executive committee packs, business risk reporting, maintenance of policies, standards and overseeing our key risk processes including the Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA).

🔑You’ll play a key role by...

Designing, coordinating and overseeing processes, empowering our Risk Partners to give unique risk insight to business leaders. • Delivering insights and high quality reporting content to meet periodic and ad hoc Board, Executive and Regulatory requests
  • Proactively producing adhoc risk, control, issue, action, or other insight for the VP Risk & Control to improve the way we monitor our key exposures
  • Proactively identifying areas of potential risk exposure, control ineffectiveness or risk appetite breaches to our Risk Partners for them to consider with their business areas
  • Delivering effective, engaging and motivating training and education for Monzonauts involved in risk reporting
  • Designing and maintaining an easy to understand and operate Risk & Control Self Assessment process that meets Group standards
  • Maintaining a suite of 1st line risk policies (eg Incident Management Policy) and designing processes and training to embed them into operations
  • Working with our Data Discipline to make sure that key risk management systems (Airtable and RegRight) allow Risk Partners to deliver actionable insights to their business areas as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Managing other project work as required by the VP Risk & Control

🤩 We’d love to hear from you if you are…

  • Experienced in risk reporting, governance and risk data management - you know what good looks like and you’re confident in bringing that to Monzo.
  • Comfortable with data - spotting trends, pulling out actionable insights and capable of producing high quality written output for Board, Executive and Regulatory audiences
  • Great at stakeholder management at all levels across the company, able to role model an effective working relationship between the 1 & 2 LOD.
  • Experienced and effective at prioritisation at a tactical and strategic level
  • Experienced in designing strategic initiatives, including Risk change
  • An excellent communicator, written and verbal, in line with our Monzo Tone of Voice
  • A role model for our values & behaviours
