We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Sales Operations Manager with a deep expertise in Salesforce to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing our sales operations processes, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions to drive sales performance, and leveraging Salesforce to its fullest potential. You will work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and IT teams to ensure that our sales operations align with business objectives, improve sales productivity, and maximize revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Management & Optimization:
Lead the management and ongoing optimization of the Salesforce platform to ensure it supports the sales team’s needs and business objectives.
Configure and customize Salesforce to improve workflows, reporting, automation, and user adoption.
Design and implement Salesforce-based tools and processes that streamline the sales cycle and improve sales productivity.
Provide ongoing Salesforce training and support to ensure best practices and consistent usage across the sales team.
Sales Process & Workflow Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements in the sales cycle using Salesforce automation, data analytics, and best practices.
Work with sales leadership to design, document, and enforce effective sales processes that ensure pipeline efficiency and effective forecasting.
Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and insights, making recommendations for improvement in strategy or execution.
Data Management & Reporting:
Lead the creation and maintenance of complex Salesforce reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs, sales performance, and forecasting.
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data in Salesforce, including regular audits and cleaning of sales data.
Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to drive sales strategy and decision-making.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Partner with marketing, finance, and IT departments to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and other systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation platforms).
Support sales leadership in aligning sales compensation plans with business objectives and Salesforce capabilities.
Work with IT to troubleshoot and resolve any Salesforce-related technical issues and to implement new features or upgrades.
Sales Training & Support:
Provide hands-on training and support to the sales team, ensuring they are well-versed in Salesforce tools and features.
Maintain a thorough understanding of sales best practices, Salesforce capabilities, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization stays at the forefront of sales operations.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5+ years of experience in sales operations, with at least 3+ years specializing in Salesforce management and optimization.
Advanced expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and reporting capabilities (certification in Salesforce Administration or Salesforce Sales Cloud preferred - not required).
Proven track record of successfully implementing Salesforce solutions to improve sales processes, productivity, and reporting.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex sales data and present actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, finance, IT, Tech Enablement).
Experience with Salesforce integrations and third-party tools (e.g., CPQ, SalesLoft, Pardot, Looker Pro).
Skills:
Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant.
Knowledge of additional Salesforce platforms and tools, such as Einstein Analytics, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, & Salesforce Data Cloud.
Experience working in high-growth or SaaS environments.
