Job Description

On-site
Do you have a passion for the latest Alexa-enabled consumer electronics and technologies? Are you a strategic thinker, able to identify new ways of doing things and manage complex projects that drive business success?

Within Amazon Devices, the EU Offline Retail organization owns the strategy and execution of all Device sales (Echo, Kindle, Fire TV and Fire Tablets) delivered through key retail partners in Europe (aka, the “Offline channel”). Within this organization, we are looking for an analytical self-starter and action-driven program manager to join the Sales Operations team. In this role, you will act as a strategic business partner to Offline leadership, and support Sales and Marketing Managers with strategy, insights, tools, mechanisms and operations to reliably drive success across the Offline channel.

As Sales Operations Manager, you will own two types of responsibilities:
(1) Business Operations: ensure that the EU Offline Retail organization is running in the right direction and with operational excellence. Support strategic business rhythm (OPx, WBR, MBRs), provide actionable insights and develop scalable mechanisms to drive efficiency. These projects are usually EU-wide.
(2) Retailer success operations: become an expert on the end-to-end operations of selling Amazon Devices in Offline, and support their smooth execution with retailers. This covers everything from retailer set-up, to tracking sales, managing financial claims, optimizing promotions and launching new products. This specific position focuses on DE/AT retailers, but you will also be an EU-wide subject matter expert on selected topics (e.g., promotions).

This role requires experience in Program Management, business inspection, and owning internal mechanisms. You must demonstrate a strategic mindset, strong influencing skills to work with cross-functional teams and leaders, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead key business rhythm activities (e.g., WBRs, MBRs), continuously improving these mechanisms to drive business inspection and efficient decision making.
• Coordinate strategic planning processes, including OPx, QxG or Goal cycles for the EU Offline organization.
• Support Account Managers and Marketing Managers with actionable business insights.
• Manage complex, multi-faceted projects to improve Offline operational efficiency and effectiveness. Scale successful solutions across geographies and product lines.
• Oversee account setup and management for DE/AT retailers, and become an expert on their end-to-end operations.
• Optimize and execute the promotion strategy for the Offline channel.
• Become an EU-wide subject matter expert on specific topics (e.g., promotions, logistics, claims…).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, PLs, DEE, Logistics, CPFR) to solve DE/AT accounts issues and drive growth.
• Represent Offline interests in internal forums and influence operational decisions to account for retailer needs and promote the best Offline customer experience.- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Several years of relevant professional experience in Sales, sales operations, or program management roles.
- Fluency in English and German
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results in ambiguous environments
- Analytical skills and experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Ability to navigate ambiguity to solve problems and deliver successfully with high attention to detail.- Experience in retail or Consumer Electronics products.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field, or MBA.
- Experience with process automation and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with Alexa-enabled devices and Amazon's device ecosystem
