The Amazon operations team is looking for Lead Fulfillment Associates with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. Lead Fulfillment Associates hold various roles within the Fulfillment Center including, but not limited to: Trainer, Process Assistant and Shipping Clerk. All role types will include performing production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. Lead Fulfillment Associates will also be responsible for communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them and keeping their work areas safe.

Key job responsibilities
Smooth operator. Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties and communicating with internal and external suppliers. Escalates barriers to Operations leaders. Drives and executes standard work in the areas of Safety, Quality and Productivity to meet daily operational goals.

- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required- The Process Assistant is assigned to the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to the Process Assistant role: • Support the Area Manager and Associates • Execute standard work duties • Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers • Providing policy follow up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline) • Track and report labor hours • Act as an associate resource, train associates and verify SOP compliance • Ensure successful shift performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback on associate performance • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives • Execute on production duties • Understand workflow and daily production goals • Review and update SOP and standard work checklist as required • Assist in keeping work areas clean and organized • Identify and address safety hazards within the work area • Coaching associates to work safely at all times • Participate in safety initiatives • Refer all job injuries immediately to area manager

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $31,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $54,600/year in our highest geographic market.
