Overview
The Senior Marketing Planning & Operations Manager, Import & Studio Relations, leads the connectivity between big bet single-title campaigns emanating from UCAN, LATAM and APAC, and support for those titles in EMEA markets; as well as marketing studio relations for EMEA. In this role, the Senior Manager will oversee the end-to-end import of EMEA title campaigns - ensuring that campaigns are best set up for success to drive business impact in EMEA - and manage the comms and workflows for licensed title marketing. The Senior Marketing Planning & Operations Manager, Import & Studio Relations, will manage a small team, and report directly to the Director of EMEA Marketing Planning & Operations. As a seasoned thought partner to EMEA XF Marketing teams, and a regional representative for XF Marketing teams based in UCAN, LATAM and APAC, the Senior Manager will focus on the below four core areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
Build strong working relationships with Marketing stakeholders in export markets across UCAN, LATAM and APAC - with focus on the US and Korea - alongside key regional stakeholders (including Content licensing teams) in EMEA.
Manage a team to lead the import of UCAN, LATAM and APAC title campaigns, demonstrating strategic pan-EMEA campaign leadership on EMEA needs & nuances from upstream input, right through to operational campaign execution.
Develop strong strategic partnership with EMEA Marketing leaders, confidently representing the full EMEA import & licensed title slate - driving forward new workflows and identifying areas for innovation.
Determine new ways of working for Studio Relations in the region - nurturing internal (Content) and external (Studio partner - i.e. BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sony,) stakeholder relationships, building strategy & workflows for the years ahead.
REGIONAL MARKETING HUB
Strong EMEA IQ/EQ, ability to distill the complexities of the region ex-EMEA.
Holistic purview on EMEA market strategies, nuances and ambitions.
Full knowledge of the global content slate & business initiatives - connecting the dots between the content slate and the business, with ability to foresee future needs.
Strong understanding of all import title & licensed title campaign execution in region, which can be consolidated & communicated to regional partners & EMEA leaders.
OPERATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Through long-lead planning and analysis, develop workflows to proactively identify titles for EMEA import and socialise title-specific detail to best equip teams for decision-making and budget allocation.
Develop new infrastructure for Marketing Studio Relations in region - enabling EMEA partners to have greater visibility, connectivity and insights regarding the licensed slate, marketing opportunities and insights.
Inspire and ensure operational excellence across all import and licensed campaigns.
Seek innovation opportunities by identifying new workflows and tooling solutions to bring operational optimisations and efficiencies.
Lead, distill and socialise import campaign performance and learnings.
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Lead a small team of seasoned, geographically-dispersed marketeers - inspiring and elevating individuals, and identifying new areas for team and personal development.
Drive Import & Studio Relations team strategy, laddering up to the overall vision of the EMEA Planning & Operations group.
Support EMEA Marketing Studio Relations specialist with issue escalation and crisis management, where relevant.
Drive ongoing innovation & efficiencies within day-to-day team ways of working, R&Rs and partner team connectivity.
