POSITION SUMMARY:
The UI/UX Designer will enhance the user experience of our Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).
This individual will optimize usability, navigation, reporting, dashboards, workflows, and overall user
interface. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including leadership, the Clinical
Trials Systems Manager, developers, and stakeholders, to create a user-centric design that aligns with both
user needs, SOPs, and business goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Design and organize intuitive, user-friendly dashboards that present key data in a clear format.
● Focus on data visualization, including charts, graphs, and tables, ensuring that information is easy
to interpret and actionable.
● Improve system layout to ensure ease of navigation, quick access to key records and metrics, and
noise reduction.
● Design workflows that are simple, efficient, and reduce friction for system users.
● Identify areas for improvement by analyzing user research data to uncover pain points and
address user needs.
● Iterate on design solutions based on testing results, ensuring that the system is easy to use,
efficient, and visually cohesive.
● Collaborate with Clinical Systems Manager, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure
implementation of designs, alignment of project goals, and understanding of technical constraints.
● Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups to illustrate design concepts and iteratively
refine based on feedback.
● Develop and implement task management features, ensuring users can easily create, assign,
track, and complete tasks within the system.
● Present design concepts and ideas to manager and leadership, incorporating feedback and
ensuring alignment with business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Advanced degree preferred.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical operations and UI/UX.
● Experience working in Clinical Systems (eTMF, CTMS, etc.).
● Familiarity with agile development processes and cross-functional teamwork.
● Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) or working closely with developers.
● Experience with Salesforce Administration.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
● This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone
and read printed material. .
