Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 7 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 5 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • Experience for incorporating inclusion and accessibility into product development methodologies and knowledge of building accessibility best practices.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will be responsible for a significant portion of the product and strategy for migrations to the BigQuery platform and own critical pieces of BigQuery Migration Services. You will also be responsible for a mission-critical objective for the company's growth.

You will be focused on delivering the fastest and smoothest migration paths by developing cutting-edge migration accelerators, leveraging generative AI, and collaborating with partners, customer engineers and Google Cloud Consulting. You will be making a significant impact, as evidenced by the investment in headcount and resources. This dedicated focus on migrations underscores the teams importance to Google Cloud's continued success and reinforces the company's commitment to providing the best possible migration experience for its customers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Define the strategy and roadmap for Google Cloud's migration services, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives and market trends.
  • Drive the development and evolution of cutting-edge migration services, incorporating advanced technologies like generative AI to enhance capabilities and accelerate customer migrations.
  • Forge and nurture strong relationships with key partners to expand the reach and impact of Google Cloud's migration offerings.
  • Advocate for customer needs, ensuring the migration experience is seamless, efficient, and delivers exceptional value. Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve offerings and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Help shape the trajectory and course of Google Cloud's Data Analytics portfolio by bringing migrations-learned insights and key industry trends back to the Data Analytics product suite.
