We're seeking a Sr. Product Manager to work on how we bring together measurement and planning for reach across all Amazon Advertising for both internal and external customers. The person in this position will play a significant leadership role in our business and product teams. In this role, you will focus on establishing a reach reporting mechanism across all Amazon Advertising products along with playing a key role in connecting these reports to our media planning capabilities for our agencies and advertisers.
You are a problem solver who is excited by hard never-been-solved before challenges, and enjoys working with tech teams collaboratively. You are passionate about leading programs that have both broad influence and unique science and technical challenges to solve, and equally comfortable interacting with business units on their business needs. You enjoy a close-knit team environment of shared responsibility. This role requires great technical expertise, and ability to dive deep into the challenges and solutions we solve on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have an established track record of delivering large complex programs as well as effectively influencing up and across the organization.
You set the product vision, define use cases, analyze customer and financial implications, and ultimately choose the most promising path for success. You will work directly with external customers to collect input, mold requirements, and release features. You drive prioritization across multiple development teams, communication with internal stakeholders, user testing with customers, and the go to market plan with product marketing. You are an evangelist of the platform, promoting new features to clients, defining success metrics, and accelerating adoption through sales teams. All while simultaneously protecting and enhancing the customer experience on Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for critical product initiatives such as the product capabilities we need to drive superior performance for our advertisers.
- Set the product vision, define use cases, analyze customer and financial implications, and ultimately choose the most promising path for success.
- Lead and influence across different organizations and align diverse teams to a common goal
- Evangelist of the platform, promoting new features to clients, defining success metrics, and accelerating adoption through sales teams.
- 100% customer focused, understanding their needs and requirements, plus anticipating future trends that will serve their needs.
- Work directly with external customers to collect input, mold requirements, and release features.
- Able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, while roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
- Be excellent at delivering results, being able to coordinate large, multi-functional projects on-time, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
About the team
The Reach Planning and Measurement team builds self-service planning and measurement products that help advertisers gain insight into key performance metrics for their campaigns. Using Amazon's unique retail and ads data, we deliver actionable insights that advertisers can use to gauge campaign performance, optimize their budgets, and understand the impact of their spend across the entire marketing funnel. These measurement capabilities directly influence future advertising spend on Amazon Ads inventory and are strategically important in driving long-term growth.- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
