We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Compensation, who will be a key leader within the People Team at Flexport. As the Head of Compensation at Flexport, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a forward-thinking, global compensation strategy. You will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of comprehensive compensation programs, ensuring they are equitable, competitive, and aligned with both company values and business objectives. Your work will directly support Flexport’s ability to attract, retain, and motivate top talent in a fast-evolving market.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Head of People and executive leadership to provide data-driven insights on competitive labor trends, conduct job evaluations, and recommend salary structures and budgets. As the subject matter expert, you will ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations, while also bringing innovative approaches to compensation planning. You will be responsible for the strategic design and administration of incentive plans, stock options, as well as executive and bonus programs, driving high performance across the organization. Finally, you will monitor and oversee our current compensation tools and systems and contracts from a value-add and cost efficient perspective as well as the selection, implementation, and optimization of new tools and systems to ensure they scale with Flexport’s growth.
This role requires a commitment to an RTO policy of 2-3 days in the Chicago, IL or Dallas, TX office.
