What about Dataiku IT team?

IT Operations are critical to the success of Dataiku employees around the world. The IT Operations Team is responsible for the systems, networks and services that Dataiku employees rely on. Dataiku's current IT Stack is a fast-moving modern environment: (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, …). The IT Operations Team is also responsible for our fleet of devices, the MDMs that manage them, and the processes and applications that enable Dataiku employees to work efficiently. This means managing hundreds of devices across multiple operating systems and the ownership of their respective management suites.  

How you’ll make an impact

Dataiku is looking for a talented Endpoint Engineer to join the IT Operations Team. We are looking for someone with energy, pragmatism, simplicity, and a strong technology background.

As an Endpoint Engineer, you will be managing the endpoints, applications, MDM tools and infrastructure in place for macOS, Windows, Linux and iOS and Android endpoints to provide employees with a secure and efficient working environment.

Here's a taste of how you can help the team: 

  • Maintain our MDM solutions across macOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS
  • Ensure our fleet is outfitted with the best hardware and software
  • Work with other IT teams on Endpoint related tasks and issues
  • Collaborate on various initiatives with Compliance and Security
  • Provide the best onboarding experience for new hires
  • Ensure applications are consistently patched and up-to-date, across all operating systems
  • Serve as a point of escalation for teams on endpoint and MDM issues
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout our MDM and Asset Management tools
  • Create, test, and validate policies applied to endpoints
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure employees are able to use the latest operating systems and application versions
  • Participate in the L2 IT Support for Endpoints related issues

What you need to be successful 

  • Experienced in JAMF (current MDM solution to manage 95% of our fleet)
  • Well-versed in Windows and Linux MDM solutions is a plus (currently using Intune and Fleet)
  • Able to write basic scripts to automate tasks (macOS or Linux environments)
  • Familiar with regulated environments, including ISO27001 and SOC II
  • Hands-on experience in managing a fleet of hundreds of endpoints (macOS, iOS, Android or Windows)
