Job Description

A World-Changing Company

Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.

The Role

Apollo enables autonomous management and continuous deployment of mission critical software, wherever it is. We’re transforming the way organizations around the world deploy software, taking SAAS where SAAS has not gone before: from on-premise, to various cloud providers, to disconnected environments (air-gapped), to strict accreditation frameworks, and to the edge. Learn more about Apollo and why it was built!

As an Engineering Manager, you'll own a team that enables workflows for multi-tenant customers, establishes and enforces security constraints, develops workflows enabling a first class customer onboarding experience, and facilitates self-serve management and usage metering used for billing. In this role, you will integrate security and compliance deeply into the DevOps toolchain enabling DevSecOps while balancing the need for user-friendliness. The average user wants access and security controls to be simple and transparent, and your team's work will deliver that.

You care deeply about your team, invest in their personal growth and support them in maximizing their impact to the business. You love developing, coaching and growing people across different subject areas and crafts. You can effectively develop a high-trust, inclusive environment within the team. You are empathetic to user pain and able to convert it to opinions about the UX of the product. You are able to make the right prioritization calls, even if hard, based on business requirements, team needs, and staffing availability. Even though you don't spend a large percentage of time coding, you contribute to the code base when needed.
