Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry maintaining equipment such as: Lithography, wet etch, dry etch, thin films, vacuum, deposition, PECVD, CVD or Radio-Frequency (RF).
  • Experience in troubleshooting Electrical/electronics, Mechanical/pneumatics, software controls or vacuum.
  • Experience with gas distribution systems (e.g., installing gas cylinders, chemical handling, etc.).
  • Ability to work non-standard hours (7pm - 7am PST - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday), including weekends, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required with able to lift 50lbs and stand for 8 hours.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certificate of Trade/Technical School.
  • Experience with using Manufacturing Execution Software (MES).
  • Experience in supporting emergency response and safety team.
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment (e.g., helium leak checking) with multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience in reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.

The Raxium Facility and Equipment team maintains a range of semiconductor/facility equipment and cleanroom infrastructure. Our expertise lies in understanding the relationship between semiconductor processing and its support equipment, enabling us to troubleshoot problems, execute tasks, and collaborate on installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing cleanroom and facility support equipment.

In this role, you will be maintaining and repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on systems, vacuum, lithography, wet/dry etch, thin film deposition (e.g., CVD, RF) and Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP). You will also troubleshoot issues, understand the interplay between fab and facility systems, and execute tasks related to equipment installation, modification, and repair within a cleanroom environment.

With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $87,000-$125,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
