Program Manager III, Operations, Cloud AI Systems

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience leading software engineering or product development programs.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  
• Experience with leading programs across infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise businesses.
• Experience influencing stakeholders on cross-functional teams.
  
• Experience in operations or management consulting.
  
• Experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As an Operations Program Manager for MSCA, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across our infrastructure, software, and hardware engineering teams. You will be instrumental in streamlining planning and execution processes, fostering a culture of consistent prioritization and decisive action. Your work will directly translate to efficient delivery of our high-value products and services.

The ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) organization at Google designs, implements, and manages the hardware, software, machine learning, and systems infrastructure for all Google services (Search, YouTube, etc.) and Google Cloud. Our end users are Googlers, Cloud customers and the billions of people who use Google services around the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Collaborate across ML, Systems, and Cloud AI PMO, working with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders in Engineering, Finance, and Product/Strategy Operations teams to drive Annual and Semester Planning processes/deliverables.
  
• Drive improvements to product development, planning, and operational processes to enable program execution speed and efficiency, and drive adoption across the organization.
  
• Manage cross-functional programs and initiatives, including prioritizing deliverables, setting deadlines, monitoring execution, and managing program risks.
  
• Develop operational tools, reports, and dashboards for monitoring program prioritization, execution, and resource management.
  
• Develop and publish regular program execution updates, dashboards, readouts, newsletters and other communications to leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
