As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.
In this role, you will participate in content strategy planning, facilitate ongoing business and operational processes, help manage the operational components of partner campaigns, identify and drive business growth opportunities and obtain approvals and terms for various partner-related opportunities. You will have the opportunity to create relationships with our partners, to renew existing partnerships, and to optimize potential opportunities. You will be as comfortable negotiating content-licensing agreements with partners as you are working cross-functionally with colleagues in Product, Engineering, Business, Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure our partners are positioned for success and our users enjoy the quality experience.
