Japan Seller Services is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the BI team. The core focus of this role is to leverage data and BI capabilities to directly support the goals and initiatives of the Japan Seller Services business team. Key job responsibilities
The Business Intelligence Engineer will own 2+ business domains and work closely with business partners (Product/Program/Sales Managers) and technical partners (BIEs, Data Engineers, Data Scientists) across the following four pillars:

A day in the life
The individual will work with 5-10 business partners in Japan and 3-5 technical partners in US/India. They will continuously manage requests for data visualization, analytics, and ad-hoc data pulls from business partners through our internal ticketing system (SIM). This involves prioritizing requests while ensuring sufficient time is allocated for important work and meeting agreed-upon timelines.
Our Redshift database is managed by the central BI team in the US. The individual will work closely with technical partners in US/India on database-level issue resolution and optimization. Additionally, since the central BI team in the US owns global technical initiatives, they will collaborate on topics such as metric definition and data source standardization.
Approximately 10% of the role's time will be dedicated to routine work.
