Key job responsibilities
• Maintain high operations standard with cross-dock service partners (both 3P and 1P) on safety, performance, and process compliance.
• Organize and Manage Multiple Flows within 3P sites, partnering with both finance and legal on contractual work to launch new sites or flows
• Continuous improvement management with Internal cross-dock service partners.
• Work on new site launches and network expansions increasing your portfolio of Terminals managed
• Gathers requirements from appropriate business owners, writes clear and detailed functional specifications, prioritizes features, and drives technical scoping as needed.
• Responsible for compiling standard metrics and reporting for review by internal partner teams.
To be successful in this role, you need a passion for making data driven decisions which will have direct impact on customer experience. Some keys to your success are the ability to be an effective communicator to various audiences. The ability to remain flexible and adapt to learning new tools and systems is instrumental in your role on the team. Our environment is deadline driven, fast paced, and requires you to be detail-oriented and comfortable interacting and working with multiple teams (business and technical).
A day in the life
• Review site performance and define key actions to drive key metric improvement (Safety, Customer Experience, Compliance, among others)
• Manage operational performance for Under-the-Roof operations with cross-dock service partners (terminals), Capture main opportunities for improvement with our partners, review and align on the action plan, and follow up on open actions to ensure optimal partner performance.
• Project support: Support cross-functional projects seeking to deploy best practices across regions. Including launching important high revenue generating initiatives for E2E business.

As an integral part of the Amazon Freight Less-Than-Truckload (AF LTL) team, the Terminal Manager We are looking for Program Manager to join our team! works to improve carrier and terminal performance for a specific geographical market. The AF LTL team works externally with service providers, offering business and logistics expertise to ensure optimal delivery of service solutions.
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining and executing program requirements- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
