We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our VAT Operations team within the Compliance division of the Marketplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the automation of manual processes, harmonizing rules across various legislations, simplifying SOPs, and developing metrics to improve team productivity and quality. This role requires strong collaboration with tech teams to influence automation solutions and the ability to work autonomously to deliver results.
Minimum gross monthly salary for this positions starts from 3250 Eur. The final total compensation offered is likely to be higher and will consist of further pay components such as sign on bonus and restricted stock units.
Key job responsibilities
1. Automation of Manual Processes:
- Collaborate with tech teams to identify and implement automation solutions for manual VAT operations processes.
- Influence and partner with stakeholders in tech to prioritize and drive automation projects, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
2. Harmonization of Rules:
- Analyze and align rules across multiple legislative frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement harmonized processes.
3. Simplification and Synergy:
- Review and simplify Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflows and improve team productivity.
- Identify synergies across operations to optimize resource utilization.
4. Metrics and Quality Goals:
- Develop and track metrics to measure process quality and performance.
- Set and drive quality improvement goals, ensuring that plans are in place to achieve the best possible outcomes.

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis, Excel and SQL
• Experience in influencing senior leaders and technical teams to achieve business goals
• Availability to work in autonomous environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills • MBA preferred
• Experience working in operations, compliance, or marketplace environments
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects, particularly in automation and process improvement.
