We are seeking a dynamic and diligent Localization Operations Manager to be responsible for and lead key aspects of operations for the Localization program. This individual will be responsible for driving the efficiency of our localization workflows, overseeing financial processes, and providing detailed reporting through Adobe Workfront dashboards. This role will be crucial in maintaining the operational integrity of the Localization program and supporting the overall quality assurance process.

What You Will Be Doing:

Localization Program Administration

  • Develop, maintain, and improve processes and documentation related to team practices, project workflows, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all localization activities.
  • Maintain accurate budget tracking for localization projects, ensuring all expenses align with approved budgets. Lead the creation, processing, and management of Purchase Orders (POs), invoicing, and monthly reconciliation to ensure financial accountability.
  • Define and lead project infrastructures, including workflows, tools, and resources, to streamline processes.

Project Management

  • Lead project intake and coordination processes using Adobe Workfront, ensuring proper resource allocation and timeline management for all localization projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope of work, timelines, and requirements to ensure alignment with overall team, division, and company objectives.
  • Responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of project dashboards and reporting, providing real-time project status updates, resource utilization, and other key measurements of success.

Financial Management

  • Ensure the timely and accurate tracking of budgets, providing detailed financial reports to leadership and partners.
  • Responsible for ensuring invoicing and payments are processed on time, and ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Assist in forecasting and budget planning for future localization needs based on project trends and historical data.

Cross-Functional Team Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all partners involved in the localization process, including vendors, internal teams, and leadership.
  • Cultivate strong communication and connectivity between project teams, external localization vendors, and other departments to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
  • Drive alignment across teams on project timelines, budgets, and expectations, ensuring all project partners are informed of progress and potential issues.

Quality Assurance Support

  • Support quality assurance by ensuring that all localized content meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Assists in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the process, ensuring projects stay on track and are delivered on time.

What You Bring Along:

  • Education related to Marketing, Translation, Linguistics, International Relations, Business Operations or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated ability in marketing operations, localization and/or web project management, or similar roles, with a clear grasp of the localization lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams, handling competing priorities, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience with project management tools, specifically Adobe Workfront, to own project intake, workflows, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with localization management software (e.g., Smartling, Memsource, XTM), translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados, Wordfast), and multiple file types (JSON, INDD, IDML, PDF, PNG, SRT, MP4)
  • Familiarity and experience handling budgets, POs, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to work cross-functionally with global teams and external vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and the capability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a localization, web projects, content management, or global marketing environment. And ideally, knowledge of localization and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify risks proactively while maintaining quality and timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Workfront dashboards, reporting, and project management functionalities.
  • Familiarity with translation management systems (TMS) and related localization tools.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach with a focus on continuous process improvement.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, global environment.
