Amazon Operations are part of the wider amazon operations structure. Specifically, Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) and Amazon Logistics (AMZL) are responsible for operational excellence and strategic planning in middle and last miles making sure that every Amazon parcel is delivered to the customer in the most efficient and customer centric manner, using various means of transportation, utilising our sortation and delivery stations. Our Field Operations sites are made up of Operations and Logistics professionals, who each bring a unique background and perspective to their site.

Amazon offers flexible working options, including hybrid office/home working (Amazon observes a 3-day week in the office working pattern. All flexible working requests will be considered on a case by case basis with the manager at the end of the program.
Who is Amazon EU Operations for?
You will be an experienced professional who has the right to work in the country for which you are applying, and who has had a career break of 18+ months prior to joining the program in August 2024. You may have been working small-scale around other commitments or not done any paid work during this period.
You will be interested in joining a values-led business, embracing the Amazon Leadership Principles and kick-starting the next chapter of your career.
Amazon EU Operations is keen to hear from people whose previous careers were in a number of sectors including, but not limited to, retail, FMCG, transportation and logistics, financial services, consulting and advertising.

About the team
Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

- A degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel
- Experience working cross functionally with teams
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadershipLeading large teams

These roles will be based in Amazon fulfilment centres and/or Delivery Stations and will require the successful applicant to be based onsite. The role will be shift based, typically 4 days per week, however during the initial training period this may move to 5 days per week, before aligning to the designated shift.
