As a Technical Producer III for the Esports Platform & Experiences team you will be the custodian of strong delivery processes for a team that uses a mix of internal development and external partners. You will report to the Senior Manager, Production and will partner with Product and Engineering Managers to drive efficiency, accuracy and accountability for planned and emergent initiatives. You will ensure stakeholder visibility as you track progress, deliver features, mitigate risks and organize priorities. You will be responsible for ensuring roadmaps are accurate, delivery meets quality expectations and team health is maintained. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with a small team of other producers to collectively guide and lead the teams to execute against the feature roadmap to high quality and on time delivery
  • Manage the collaboration with external dev teams
  • Work with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and UX Designers to define team rhythm of business, then communicate and train the team on that process
  • Coordinate dependencies across team and organizational boundaries
  • Assess & improve delivery health through retros and quarterly business reviews
  • Work with the PMs and EMs to define release plans and launch rituals
  • Facilitate agile rituals (standups, grooming, planning)
  • Drive the process to facilitate creation of product or feature roadmap
  • Ensure team's work matches overall project priorities and goals
  • Provide essential product feedback and insight to the team and leadership through playtesting and other feedback mechanisms
  • Balance team efficiency, team health, deadlines and quality
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through interpreting and communicating stages to invested audiences

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Producer with experience leading and coordinating cross organization and/or external development teams
  • Experience working on technical initiatives and technical product development and a capability to deeply engage with customers and development teams in technical discussions
  • Shipped multiple products with production responsibility on key features and/or content
  • Experienced partner management and relationship-building skills
  • Experience leading teams through feature development (planning, execution, delivery, post-release support)
  • Ample experience scheduling and tracking development. Identifying and mitigating risks associated with key-milestones both for internal teams and external teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Excellent communicator with an ability to understand and translate technical discussions for non-technical stakeholders
  • Extremely organized with proficiency in Jira, Notion, AirTable and other project management tools
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Natural influencer who is able to lead teams without direct authority to ensure alignment and team health
  • Highly collaborative individual who knows how to build and maintain partnerships 
  • Ability to identify potential risks and drive efficiencies
  • Strong EQ with an ability to identify, negotiate and resolve conflicts

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in med-large size organizations where collaboration across organizational boundaries is critical to success.
  • Experience with Product and Design tools such as Miro and Figma
  • Experience with digital communication tools such as Slack, GSuite, and Discord
  • Comfort in failing fast and learning to make things better!
