Job Summary:

As a Partner Program Manager you will be accountable for the delivery and execution of our Partner strategies and programs.  You will collaborate with internal key business functions to determine their enablement/business needs; define and execute the enablement strategy, and ensure effective processes are in place to support partner growth and relationship maintenance. 

You will be responsible for developing and overseeing smooth, ensuring cross functional teams have everything they need to have in place to support partners, and obtain support from partners as needed.As an experienced organizer, you will also oversee continual process improvement, learning development and training for various roles within our organization.  

As a partner manager, you can divide your duties into four broad categories: finding and recruiting partners, building relationships, managing relationships, and maintaining relationships. 

How Will I Make an Impact?

  • Relationship Management 
    • Establish trusted business relationships with partners as their primary interface. 
    • Maintain information flow and identify growth opportunities with partners. 
    • Manage the Partner inbox, including partner enrollment forms and handling general inquiries. 
    • Maintain documentation and oversee partner records, Salesforce data, and reporting. 
    • Schedule and conduct regular partner meetings, with specific partners receiving monthly or quarterly touchpoints. 
    • Support partners with marketing opportunities and other collaborative initiatives. 
  • Partner Lifecycle Management 
    • Guide partners through the Integration Partner Lifecycle, from initial outreach to enrollment and ongoing relationship maintenance. 
    • Facilitate onboarding, including agreement setup, signatures, site setup, and managing term amendments when necessary. 
    • Oversee email sequences, partner upgrades, and account terminations as needed. 
    • Handle Salesforce processing, dedicated site setups, amendments, and other partner management tasks. 
  • Fusion & Connection Sponsorships 
    • Manage Fusion sponsorship tasks, including updating Fusion spreadsheets, tracking quotes in Salesforce, and coordinating Fusion-related events and activities. 
    • Lead fundraising efforts for Fusion by identifying and securing sponsorships to support the event’s success. Collaborate with internal teams to track sponsor engagement, manage sponsor-related tasks, and ensure alignment with Fusion’s goals. 
    • Ensure a successful event for partners.  
  • Revenue Management and Reporting 
    • Work closely with the Partner Revenue Manager to process Partner Purchase Orders, track progress/revenue reports, and manage referral/royalty payments. 
    • Maintain a close relationship with finance for accurate revenue-sharing reports, making sure partners are paying their partnership fees.  
  • Integration Hub Management 
    • Maintain and enhance the Integration Hub by approving events, applications, announcements, and partner sign-ups. 
    • Conduct periodic cleanups and updates to ensure optimal performance. 
    • Collaborate with other teams to integrate feedback and improve functionality. 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align team objectives with D2L’s business strategy. 
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including scoping, stakeholder engagement, and milestone tracking. 
  • Flexibility to work across various projects and thrive in complex environments. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proven presentation abilities. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across all levels of the organization. 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work execution. 
  • Experience with partnership management, virtual learning environments, and learning management systems is preferred. 

The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry. As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.

Base Salary Range
$70,000$90,000 CAD
