2025 Creative Marketing Intern, XCM (Cross-Channel Marketing)

Amazon's internal advertising team Cross-Channel, Cross-Category Marketing (XCM) is seeking Creative Marketing interns across five specializations:

1. Social Creative: Art Direction
2. Social Creative: Copywriting
3. Designer (Brand Design)
4. Animator (Post-Production Animation)
5. Production Coordinator

About the Internship

This position will be part of an intern cohort of six talented individuals: two Social Creatives (Copywriting and Art Direction), two Designers (Brand Design), and two Production (Production and Animation) interns. While you will work on XCM projects, you will also function as a mini agency team to produce a capstone project to showcase at the end of the program. The internship will take place primarily in Los Angeles where XCM's creative and production team members sit, with an opportunity to travel to Seattle, WA to visit Amazon's main headquarters where XCM's in-house production company, Galaxy Studios, resides.

Specialization-Specific Key Responsibilities:

Social Creatives (Art Direction & Copywriting)

* Prime Day, Holiday campaign ad concepting: broadcast and social ideation
* Social content series development for cross-platform content creation (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
* Assisting creative teams on other day to day creative projects

Designers (Brand Design)

* Prime Day and Holiday campaign asset creation
* Branded asset development
* On-site graphic creation
* Strategic branding initiatives

Post-Production (Production Coordination & Animation)

* Prime Day and Holiday video production support
* Animation development
* Asset management
* Production workflow management and coordination

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s OR master's degree program with a graduation conferral date between December 2025 - May 2026

Able to work 40 hours a week throughout the course of a 10 to 12-week summer internship between June through August 2025

Minimum 6 months experience in relevant creative program, discipline or major

An available online portfolio:
- Social Creative: showcase conceptual thinking for campaign and social ideas
- Design: showcases creative ideas that demonstrate skills concepting as well as executional craft in Branding and Design.
- Animation: proficient in After Effects and Adobe Suite
- Production Coordination: basic understanding of video production

Specialization-Specific Preferred Qualifications:
- Social Creative: In-depth knowledge of current social trends, examples of short form video is a plus
- Design: Any UX, UI or motion experience is a plus.
- Animation: Creative sensibility of design, and animation timings, Cinema 4D is a plus
- Production: Curiosity in commercial advertising, clear and concise verbal and written communication

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $33.37/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $71.39/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
