This position is based in Boston and the employee will be expected to commute to the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with Mondays and Fridays remote.

Within Global Supplier Technology (GST), the Supplier Advertising team, owns the strategy, design, engineering, go to market, and analytics of Wayfair’s Supplier Advertising offerings, a key part of Wayfair’s growth trajectory.

At Wayfair, Advertising empowers suppliers to boost visibility of their products and brands on our platform. One of the biggest growth drivers for advertising will be increasing demand for our advertising services through an increased footprint, onboarding new suppliers and agencies, and increasing spend of existing suppliers. The Supplier Advertising Experience team is responsible for creating that demand by enabling thousands of suppliers to create, manage, and optimize successful campaigns. 

 

As the Product Manager in this space, you will be responsible for introducing new targeting capabilities, reporting, and externalizing our API offerings to our suppliers and other third parties. This role will help drive 3x growth in our supplier advertising business over the next few years by enabling more suppliers to run successful advertising campaigns!

 

What You'll Do

  • Partner with senior business and technology leaders to identify, understand, and solve the biggest challenges facing suppliers in the targeting and reporting space.
  • Define the vision for supplier-facing reporting and external API offerings that can drive 3x growth in our advertising business.
  • Define product requirements in collaboration with cross-functional and cross-department teams.
  • Partner with the engineering team to drive timely and smooth execution by participating in sprint rituals like grooming, planning and retrospective.
  • Drive go to market for your products in partnership with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain product roadmap along with constantly monitoring the success and measuring the impact of your products/features.
  • Influence the evolution of Wayfair's strategy for advertising offerings. 

What You'll Need

  • 3-5 years building software products at scale and with measurable impact
  • Experience with advertising is preferred. 
  • Ideal candidates have also built / worked on advertising campaign management tools; experience with advertising APIs is a plus.
  • Track record of effectively partnering with engineering to build high-impact, technical products with an ability to understand and push on system architecture to improve the product.
  • Ability to keep up in highly technical conversations, with experience leading technical products and ability to think and act both tactically and strategically, with experience leading cross-team initiatives.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a strong ability to conduct rigorous customer (internal or external) interviews and convey the "why" behind technical decisions. 
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to dive deep into data and produce actionable insights.
  • Ability to work with and influence partner teams (Senior Manager +) across various functional areas.
