Description
As a Communication Specialist on the Services Internal Communication and Experience team, you will develop, lead, and support innovative internal communication campaigns and programs designed to help keep our Services employees informed, connected, inspired, and engaged. You will lead projects from concept to realization, partnering closely with leaders, People Business Partners, business leads, internal partners, and various other teams. The ideal candidate strikes a balance between strategy and execution. They should be comfortable building a strategic brief for a Town Hall meeting, crafting a story and messaging for a leadership presentation, working with stakeholders to craft a meaningful speaker session, drafting content for a monthly newsletter, building plans for organizational announcements, and more.

  • At least 6-8 years in employee or internal communications, with 3+ years working with senior executives
  • Experience drafting detailed and comprehensive strategic briefs, and executing successful, complex communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to draft content and messaging for a range of internal communication channels, including employee emails, newsletters, speaker series, video, Keynote presentations, etc.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with varying deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, able to work a flexible schedule, and embrace change and ambiguity enthusiastically.

  • Experience working with and managing creative teams (design and writing) and the creative development process — preferably in an internal communication, marketing or advertising agency setting.

  • Structured/analytical thinker with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Shown success in leading international collaborations.
  • Innovative, with a critical/creative thinker attitude.

  • Strong leadership with emphasis on collaboration, proactive, flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to sell ideas and create buy in for ideas and direction.
  • Event management experience a plus.
  • Crisis communication experience a plus.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
