WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

Box AI is transforming the way businesses manage and leverage content by incorporating cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities into the Box Content Cloud. As a Staff Product Manager for Box AI, you will play a key role in building the next frontier of intelligent content management, leading AI-driven solutions that revolutionize how enterprises interact with their content.

In this role, you will be at the helm of driving Box’s AI platform strategy, execution, and iteration, shaping the future of enterprise AI solutions. You’ll define and execute product roadmaps that leverage AI technologies, such as large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), to unlock insights, automate workflows, and improve collaboration across global enterprises. Your work will directly impact how businesses across the world manage and extract value from their content at scale.

If you're passionate about defining and leading AI product strategies, bringing AI solutions to market, and driving real-world business impact, this is your chance to lead a high-impact role in the next chapter of Box’s AI growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of the Box AI platform, integrating advanced AI capabilities such as large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector databases into the Box Content Cloud.
  • Define and own a technically complex product area, balancing the needs of internal stakeholders, enterprise customers, and the rapidly evolving field of AI-driven content management.
  • Lead end-to-end product development, from identifying business problems to building AI-driven solutions, executing product roadmaps, and driving iteration based on user feedback and data.
  • Launch AI-powered products that deliver measurable results, validating product-market fit and scaling AI applications across enterprise use cases.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and machine learning teams to design, build, and deploy AI applications for large-scale content workflows and automation.
  • Establish a metrics-driven approach to product development, conducting A/B testing and performance evaluations to improve AI product outcomes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and sales, to ensure that AI-driven products meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI and machine learning, ensuring Box remains at the forefront of enterprise AI innovation.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies, partnering with key teams to effectively communicate the value of Box AI products to enterprise customers.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Application of AI Tools and Concepts: You possess a deep understanding and hands-on experience with Retriever-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and contextual optimization for AI models. You have successfully integrated these techniques into products, improving performance and relevance for end users. Your ability to build scalable, AI-driven solutions ensures the delivery of intelligent, real-time applications.
  • Expertise in Market LLMs and Industry Trends: You are well-versed in the latest industry trends in AI and large language models (LLMs). You have a comprehensive understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of market-leading models like GPT, BERT, PaLM, and others, enabling you to make informed decisions on model selection and customization based on the product's requirements and business objectives.
