**About the Role** \- The Delivery Engineering organization at Uber focuses on foundational improvements and efficiency across multiple teams such as Courier, Eater, Marketplace, and Merchant Orgs among others. This position requires recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring other engineers while fostering an inclusive environment that respects ideas and viewpoints from different backgrounds. Staff Engineers are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across various functions such as engineering, product management, and design to align goals and deliver impactful outcomes. They play a pivotal role in team and cross-team engagements, serving as a representative for their organization internally and externally, and acting as a role model interviewer, consistently working to raise the hiring bar.
