Your Future Role at QRT
Join Qube Research & Technologies (QRT) as a Software Engineer where you’ll play a key role in evolving and scaling our high-performance trading platform. You’ll be building robust tools and automation that support the speed, reliability, and efficiency of our infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll:

  • Develop tooling and automation for deployment, monitoring, and incident response
  • Design and document resilient, high-performance systems
  • Own and improve the observability stack (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting)
  • Evaluate and implement the most suitable tools for each use case
  • Work closely with developers, quants, and infrastructure teams to drive system evolution

Your Current Skillset
You’re a pragmatic and thoughtful engineer with a passion for building systems that last. You bring:

  • Strong Python development skills, particularly for infrastructure and automation
  • A track record of designing and operating scalable systems in production environments
  • A clear coding style and focus on code quality and technical debt reduction
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical teams
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Bonus points if you also bring:

  • Experience with low-latency trading systems, market data feeds, or exchange protocols
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems, network programming, and systems-level tuning
  • Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or other container orchestration platforms
  • A solid understanding of monitoring, observability, and incident response best practices
