The SoC Materials Program Manager is responsible for managing the supply and logistics of critical materials required for the successful development and manufacturing of system-on-chip (SoC) products. This includes coordinating with internal engineering and product teams as well as external OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) suppliers to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain to support the diverse product builds.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the procurement, inventory, and distribution of SoC materials (e.g., silicon wafers, substrates, packages, test sockets, etc.) to support the product roadmap and manufacturing schedules of various product teams.
- Collaborate closely with internal SoC design, validation, and ATE testing teams, as well as product teams, to understand their unique material requirements and timelines for different product builds.
- Engage with OSAT suppliers to secure capacity and monitor delivery performance to meet the needs of multiple product teams.
- Develop and implement material forecasting models to anticipate supply and demand fluctuations across the diverse product portfolio.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain, such as supplier disruptions, material shortages, or quality issues, that could impact different product builds.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and responsive support for the various product teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues and ensure timely resolutions that minimize impact on product development and manufacturing.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost, availability, and flexibility across the product portfolio.
- Provide regular reporting and updates on material supply, demand, and risk factors to key stakeholders, including product team leaders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness to support the evolving needs of the product teams.- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to balance the needs of various product teams.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and project management tools.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate with product teams and suppliers.
- Willingness to travel to supplier locations and production sites as needed.- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor supply chain management, materials planning, or procurement, with a focus on supporting multiple product teams.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor packaging, testing, and manufacturing processes, as well as the unique requirements of different product builds.
