About This Role

Strava is the app for active people. With over 150 million athletes in more than 190 countries, it’s more than tracking workouts—it’s where connection, motivation, and personal bests thrive. No matter your activity, gear, or goals, Strava’s got you covered. Find your crew, crush your milestones, and keep moving forward. Start your journey with Strava today.

Strava for Business partners with brands looking to authentically engage with our highly engaged global community. Through our innovative advertising and challenge-based campaigns, we provide an alternative to traditional marketing channels, allowing brands to inspire and connect with athletes in a meaningful way.

As an Account manager, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to partners, helping them achieve their business objectives while demonstrating the long-term value of Strava’s solutions. Your ability to build strong client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and drive renewals will be key to the success of both our partners and Strava. This role requires a combination of client relationship management, campaign strategy, and operations knowledge to ensure our partners achieve success in their fitness and engagement goals.

Strava has a positive and encouraging culture - we are looking for inquisitive, humble, hard working and collaborative teammates who are able to balance the execution of challenges, driving upsells while keeping both the partner and Strava user value in mind!

We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to around half your time on-site in our NYC office—roughly three days per week.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Own a portfolio of brand and agency partners and collaborate closely with internal teams to build seamless campaign experiences and improve client success.
  • Support partners through the entire campaign lifecycle, from contracts all the way to challenge builds & reporting using a variety of tools (including but not limited to Asana, Tableau, SQL, Hubspot).
  • Drive renewals and upsells by using data driven recommendations and demonstrating the impact of Strava’s advertising solutions to secure long term partnerships.
  • Act as the ears and eyes for the product team, gathering and compiling partner and product feedback to help inform product improvements.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of Strava’s platform features and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve campaigns.

You will be successful here by:

  • Being a strong communicator. The ability to set expectations, influence stakeholders, and handle multiple conversations at once is critical.
  • Being proactive, taking initiative to tackle challenges, optimize processes, and identifying new opportunities for partners based on performance data and client feedback.
  • Demonstrating outstanding attention to detail, product knowledge and problem solving skills to ensure a high standard of execution, from strategy to reporting while balancing speed with quality.
  • Embracing change & adapting quickly. Being comfortable with shifting priorities, new product offerings, and a constantly evolving digital landscape is key to success.
  • Staying athlete & community-centric. Strava’s success is rooted in its passionate user base, and we want brands to enhance, rather than disrupt, the athlete experience.

We’re excited about you because:

  • You have 5+ years of experience working in an account management or client services role, managing media agencies and/or large brands.
  • You excel in communication and relationship-building, thriving in collaborative environments with internal and external partners.
  • You are comfortable and motivated by working towards achieving revenue goals and use data to inform recommendations and decision-making.
  • You are proactive, always finding new ways to add customer value, find opportunities for upselling, and drive business growth that helps meet our revenue goals.
  • You are adaptable, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring client satisfaction remains a top priority.
  • You are passionate about fitness, technology and the power of community.
