AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Amazon Specialist and Partner (ASP) org is looking for a full-time Workplace Strategist, PM to support our global teams. This position will require quarterly travel and is intended to increase our emphasis on space planning efficiency and customer experience by identifying and planning for the business, individual teams and employee needs in advance of growth while streamlining efforts and tools to reduce overall cost. The candidate for this position must be an excellent communicator, with an ability to guide stakeholders in defining scope and effectively using resources. As a Workplace Strategist you will work with experienced teams to carry out new processes following a systematic and repetitive methodology with attention to accuracy. You will also utilize analytical skills to determine the best outcome for ASP teams with a big picture focus. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed with minimal supervision in an open and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison between ASP and Global Real Estate/Facilities teams
- Partner with ASP and Global teams to define business requirements and participate in company-wide projects
- Create visibility on key initiatives across ASP and Global Real Estate/Facilities
- Coordinate with Global teams to analyze headcount data and forecast demand
- Manage recurring communication of this information to provide updates for campus-wide strategic planning
- Establish, enhance, track, and report on metrics to drive performance improvements
- Understand current Amazon systems and their capabilities/limitations
- Develop business cases to enact desired changes
- Negotiate capacity stack plans balancing employee experience and cost-effectiveness
- Create and maintain accurate digital floor maps
- Proactively communicate space changes to management
- Complete space audits and data updates for ASP teams
- Monitor and update ASP space trouble tickets
- Process other space-related changes like storage, keys, artwork
- Assist lead Strategist in driving system/process changes
- Create visibility on process gaps and provide improvement recommendations
- Thrive in ambiguous environments with a resourceful, hardworking approach
- Look to lead for guidance and direction as needed

- Proactive in monitoring and updating space-related data and changes.

- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
