The Energy Technology Program Manager is tasked with supporting technical assessments for advanced energy and infrastructure technologies to power the datacenters that the Microsoft Cloud reside on. They will maintain a clear and adaptable roadmap for technology’s integration, diligently assist in the selection and management of technology partners and solutions, and constantly evaluate the business implications of progress and implementation.   

The ideal candidate will have experience in the energy industry and/or data center industry and project management. This role will also be responsible for supporting a team responsible for researching and developing varied precommercial energy technologies.  

You will be working with people from many different teams and backgrounds requiring an open mind-set. You must be able to identify and partner with other groups to achieve joint or complimentary goals. You will need to have a proven track record of successfully managing projects, executing contractual improvements through service agreements, and lowering project costs,

• This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.
• Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.
• This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%.
