Google's Consumer Shopping UX team is responsible for shaping shopping experiences across a broad set of user touch points including Google's largest products: Search, Shopping, Maps, Chrome, and more. Our products are used by people to find, research, and discover the items that meet their needs from the world's largest catalog of offers. This broad ecosystem of products, provides Google a unique vantage point and allows us to build delightful experiences that connect users and merchants everywhere throughout their shopping journey.
As the Director of UX Research for Shopping, you will be leading the user research team to drive amazing Google Shopping experiences, balancing the practical needs of product development with building a foundational knowledge base covering all facets of user needs, motivations, and desired experiences along the shopping journey.
User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
