We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

The AWS Environmental team is an expanding and dynamic team that is critical to enabling AWS’s growth around the world, as well as ensuring compliance of AWS’s global operations, including physical data centers, as well as other AWS facilities, customer-facing enterprises and products.

We are searching for a Regional Environmental Manager (REM) to lead the environmental team in the Asia Pacific region responsible for environmental compliance and improvement for Amazon Web Services (AWS) operational data centers in the Asia Pacific Region. The REM is a key member of the Global Environmental leadership team and will drive global environmental strategy, complete environmental performance analysis, establish and monitor metrics, and guide the teams in implementing Amazon environmental standards. The REM will work with internal and external partners including contractors, consultants, design, construction, operations and other key stakeholders. This position is based in Sydney and will require domestic and international travel.
