As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in driving project management efforts at the firm, ensuring seamless management between teams, and effectively using JIRA and Confluence to enhance project efficiency and collaboration. You will be responsible for tracking project progress, following up with various teams, and leading meetings to ensure successful project delivery. Your goal will be to manage project teams to deliver efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of large programs. Apply Scaled Agile, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies tailored to each program and team's specific needs.
  • Act as a central point of contact for all project-related activities. Collaborate with different teams to ensure they understand project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Facilitate communication and foster a cohesive working environment.
  • Proficiently handle JIRA and Confluence information, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of their functionalities and capabilities. Use these tools to create and manage project tasks, issues, workflows, and documentation, ensuring smooth collaboration and organization across all project stakeholders.
  • Display meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of project management. Thoroughly review project documents, identify potential issues, and work proactively to address them to ensure project success.
  • Track project milestones, tasks, and timelines to ensure adherence to schedules. Regularly follow up with teams to monitor progress and promptly address any potential bottlenecks or delays. Prepare comprehensive status reports for project stakeholders and management.
  • Organize and lead project-related meetings with cross-functional teams, ensuring all participants are well-prepared and objectives are achieved. Record meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up tasks for proper accountability.
  • Communicate program status, key achievements, and risks. Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and dashboards to facilitate decision-making and drive transparency.

What We are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager managing large complex in house software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects, especially on those that require integration spanning across many teams.
  • Extensive expertise in using JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation. Experience using plug ins such as Big Picture is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as Agile, Waterfall and hybrid mgmt.
