Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles, including interfacing with executive stakeholders and managing and delivering IT technical implementations, transformation programs, or other initiatives.
  • 8 years in Consulting, vendor or partner management, including selection, vendor operations, negotiating agreements.
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in operational or sourcing capacity for Machine Learning data operations, content review, annotations, and ratings.
  • Experience executing service agreements, statements of work for outsourced operations.
  • Experience in multi vendor operations management for scaled operations and vendor relationship management.
  • Ability to communicate cross-functionally to multiple teams across all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

This role is a heavy consulting position, focused on advising and providing solutions to our Learning and Training services business stakeholders regarding their vendor needs. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and solutions provider, build strong relationships with external partners globally, as well as internal Google stakeholders. You will be responsible for discussing and securing the best possible value for Google in all vendor agreements.

  • Lead the development and execution of the vendor strategy, sourcing, selection, discussions, and agreements for managed services providers primarily focused on our Learning Services vertical.
  • Develop scalable cost optimal operating models, solutions and service capabilities including gig based delivery models for both time bound projects as well as ongoing operations.
  • Be the solutions provider and an advisor. Manage the overall relationship with the Learning and training business teams as well as engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Google to drive results.
  • Drive supplier performance around service quality and value addition through structured governance and performance measurement mechanisms.
  • Identify, prioritize, deliver scalable solutions and run strategic/operational initiatives across the globe to scale, transform services while measuring the business impact of those solutions in order to provide insights to leadership and inform further innovation.
