Energy is critical to enabling Meta’s infrastructure, impacting every part of the company. This is especially true for our data centers, which comprise the bulk of our energy requirements, but it reaches every part of the Meta organization. We also have a strong commitment to supporting our Company’s operations with 100% clean energy and achieving net zero emissions for our value chain. Meta is seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to lead the energy, and associated emissions, reporting for our fleet of data centers and clean energy projects. In this role, you will be a member of Meta’s Energy Team working in close collaboration and partnership with the Net Zero team. Your responsibilities will include: ensuring that we have the infrastructure to accurately measure our energy consumption, clean energy generation, and associated emissions to track our progress towards being Net Zero by 2030; collecting and auditing energy data from Meta’s operations; coordinating with Net Zero and ESG teams to complete annual GHG inventory and Sustainability Report; leading reporting to and engagement with clean energy reporting organizations (i.e. RE100, CEBA, ACORE).
