We’re looking for a marketer to join the Deliveroo Italy marketing team, who will report to the Brand & Media Manager, to develop and execute Deliveroo’s marketing strategy with great and effective writing and content focus. This role will work closely with local and global marketing and localisation teams, our external creative agencies and internal creative studio to support delivering best-in-class marketing strategy, creative brand campaigns and activations that deliver against our marketing and business goals. A successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial, independent and hands-on brand-builder. S/He will have a passion for all things marketing related, creativity and creative writing, and have a natural ability to think strategically to solve business problems. S/he will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big, while paying careful attention to details.
Responsibilities To make us the most known and relevant food delivery service in Italy, you will be responsible for:
Writing copy for all marketing local communications regarding CRM, digital campaigns and brand projects.
Enforcing the brand tone of voice in every communication and ensuring that it is followed in every reviewed communication.
Collaborating with cross functional teams for the execution of cross-vertical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and with the expected outcome.
Supporting the localisation process for the development of global brand campaigns, working closely with the local and global brand team to quality check/assess them to be aligned to local behaviour and brand tone of voice.
Managing and reviewing localisations for all product assets and CRM journeys coordinated by the central team.
Working with the PR team to support consumer PR projects and coordinating PR coverage for brand projects.
Providing visibility to the team activities by writing reports and setting up decks for local and global stakeholders.
Planning and tracking all the activities, in order to direct report progress and results to the Senior Brand and Media Manager.
Requirements
3/4 years of experience in marketing department or agency experience, with a focus on content management, content production/editing or copywriting.
Italian native speaker, with great proficiency in creative writing of long and short marketing oriented copy.
Highly skilled in the English language, both written and spoken. You will work in an international environment, all our calls and presentations must be in English, and you will also be in charge of all quality checks on localisation works (English to Italian) and processes.
Previous experience in the use of Phrase localisation tool is a plus.
You’re a great team player with an attitude to work cross functionally with every vertical’s point of contact and have good stakeholders management skills, communication, and a proven experience to manage agencies & in-house teams.
