Program Manager Ⅲ , Fulfillment Network Planning

The Fulfilment Network Planning Team (FNP) of the Amazon Japan Operation is looking for Program Managers. Amazon conducts business with “the richest product selection on the planet” and “being the company that values customers the most on the planet.” as mission. The customer experience provided by Amazon has the three pillars of product lineup, low price, and convenience, and we are expanding our business by realizing these customer experiences through continuous improvement activities and the creation of innovations. Amazon is looking for experienced people who can contribute to this business. FNP is a central team launched in 2021 to lead the rapid expansion of Amazon's logistics network. We have more than 100 locations, including the Fulfilment Center (FC) and External Fulfilment (EF), which are the cornerstones of the Operation business.
The Program Manager for this position will be responsible for Labor Planning and Execution for the entire FC Network in Japan. It is expected that the Program Manager will be able to constructively reject existing processes and propose and implement a system that can achieve all of the goals of scale, accuracy and productivity. We expect the Program Manager to have strong analytical skills based on data and logic, as well as strong leadership skills for internal and external stakeholders.

このポジションのプログラムマネージャーは、日本全国のFCネットワーク全体の労働計画と実行を担当します。プログラムマネージャーには、既存のプロセスを建設的に拒否し、規模、精度、生産性のすべての目標を達成できるシステムを提案し、導入することが期待されます。また、データと論理に基づく高度な分析能力と、社内外の利害関係者に対する強力なリーダーシップ能力も期待されます。

Key job responsibilities
[Important responsibilities of the program manager]
・Reduce operating costs for short-term (3 months), medium-term (6 months), and long-term (1-3 years) periods.
・Construction and improvement of a labor cost management structure that can achieve both the expansion of the overall scale of the JPFC Network and cost reduction.
・Alignment with global standards in labor cost management
・Appropriate localization of global best practices in Japan
・Expansion of successful practices in Japan overseas

About the team
This position works as a member of the PPT(Production Planning Team) within Amazon Japan's FNP team. Our team is in charge of a wide range of tasks, from short to long-term ranges, so that we can operate our ever-expanding Operation Network more efficiently, and we are making improvements day by day so that we can deliver products with a rich selection of products, sufficient inventory volume, and quick delivery speed to our customers. - Business Level Japanese proficiency
- Business Level English proficiency
- MS Excel advance level (data visualization using functions, Pivot Table, Power Query, VBA experience)
- Over 3 years of international project management experience involving various challenges
- Experience managing more than 10 stakeholders in a project
- Over 3 years of process improvement experience using data/metrics

- 学士号以上

- MS Excel上級レベル（関数を使用したデータの可視化、ピボットテーブル、Power Query、VBAの経験）

- 担当プロジェクトにおける10名を超えるステークホルダーのマネジメント経験
- データ/指標を使用したプロセス改善経験3年以上- Experience reporting results to senior management on an ongoing basis
- Experience managing stakeholders at various levels
- Experience implementing improvements that involve changing systems in order to increase efficiency throughout the organization
- Experience introducing and operating new management tools in production management and human resource management
- Experience creating or planning reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- A positive attitude towards contributing to a comprehensive corporate culture and working with diverse groups
