We are looking for an experienced Sr. Research Account Manager to focus on a leading Higher Education and Research institution in Korea. The ideal candidate will possess enterprise sales experience, be highly customer-centric and have a track record of overachieving sales targets. They should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against an account plan to consistently deliver on quarterly targets. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to effectively communicate with faculty, business and technical leaders across the enterprise. The Sr. Account Sales Manager will be an exceptionally strong and creative thinker who thrives in a team environment and embraces all aspects of selling. They must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
- Setup strategic sales plan for Research and Higher Education market in Korea
- Drive revenue and market share in the Research and Higher Education vertical
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan with team
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
- Accelerate customer adoption
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
- Manage contract negotiations
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
- Ensure customer satisfaction- 10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of sales or sales management in infrastructure or cloud technology experience
- Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent- Master's degree or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
