The Senior Data Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the vision of Amyris's Data framework. This individual will work on architecture design, engineering, security, and resiliency across all Amyris Data environments. Additionally, the role involves supporting management functions, ensuring continuity, and acting as a point of contact for technical needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud and database technologies and be capable of working independently on projects ranging from simple to complex. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand the evolving needs of the business, while also mentoring junior team members. Qualified candidates should have technical and applied experience with data infrastructure installation, configuration, monitoring, high availability deployment and disaster recovery.
