Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in network product management, cloud architecture, or related roles.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience with Networking, Network Architecture, Networking Protocols, Software Architecture along with experience in enterprise and service provider networking, security, 5G packet core.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or a business related field.
  • Technical Certification e.g., Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CCIE, VCDX, etc.
  • 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Experience in Product management, customer engineering, solutions engineering or technical marketing experience in cloud networking, security, Kubernetes, infrastructure and application modernization, CDNs, observability.
  • Experience in network security as a vendor or operator of global networks.

As a Network Solutions Group Product Manager for Google Cloud, you will play a vital role as the technical/domain expert across enterprise, service provider networks who owns the solution definition and architecture, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) by collaborating with partner teams (e.g., Engineers, Program Manager (PgM), UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn PRDs into Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for multiple teams.
  • Own and define project roadmaps.
  • Deliver development and secure buy-in for a product outlook that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.
  • Manage validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business growth).
  • Lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or businesses.
