Job Description

On-site
The North East (NE) Region Security and Loss Prevention Manager (RLPM) is a key leadership position within the Amazon Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) Team in Australia. Based in Sydney the NE RLPM is a Security Risk Management (SRM) professional, and team leader for the field-based Amazon SLP team operating in Amazon sites in NSW and QLD.

The NE Region Security and Loss Prevention Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of security as a service to the sites in the NE region and reports to the Australian SLP Country Leader, aiding them in supporting operational teams, business partners, and the broader Australian SLP team.

The NE RLPM supports their team to manage complex operational security and loss prevention tasks and decisions, in an environment of diversity, equity and inclusion. They lead with limited guidance, are comfortable to manage risk in ambiguous situations, and use their expertise, experience and sound judgment to manage affected stakeholders in the NE region.

They mitigate security risks, manage critical incidents, and make decisions to manage short verses long-term needs, all in a fast-paced, operational environment, where change is constant.
If you are curious and want to challenge the conventional view of a security and loss prevention role in a very unconventional space, Amazon will provide that challenge! This role also gives the right candidate the ability to challenge the status quo and say, “how can we do it better?”.
