About the Role

Title: Social Media and Content Manager

Location: Remote

Position Summary

CharterUP is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Leader to craft and execute a dynamic social media strategy. This role emphasizes producing high-quality video and engaging content, ensuring our brand voice is consistently delivered across all platforms. As the Social Media Leader, you will drive engagement, enhance brand visibility, and foster growth on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other key channels.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead Social Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage a cohesive social media strategy for CharterUP and its associated brands across platforms
  • Content Calendar & Execution: Oversee content briefing, calendar creation, scheduling, posting, and community engagement for all brand accounts.
  • Brand Synergy & Distinction: Ensure our brand retains its unique voice and visual identity across identified social platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CMO, CEO and the executive team to effectively leverage social media for expansion into new geographies or the launch of vertically integrated product offerings.
  • Video Content Creation: Take a leading role in producing high-quality video content that engages and informs audiences. This includes ideation, scripting, filming, and editing videos tailored to each platform and audience.
  • Content Creation: Beyond video, produce engaging posts and graphics that align with each brand’s identity and audience preferences.
  • Measurement: Establish and track social media KPIs, providing regular updates and post-campaign insights to guide future efforts

Timelines and Reporting

  • Performance Tracking: Report weekly on organic social efforts and KPIs like engagement and referral data.
  • Post-Campaign Analytics: Create detailed scorecards and reports to extract insights that inform future strategies.
  • Calendar Oversight: Maintain and optimize schedules to align with broader marketing and business objectives.

Experience & Skills Required

  • 5+ Years of Experience: Proven success in executing strategies, branding and company social media management within/for organizations known for delivering impactful results.
  • Video Expertise: Strong experience in video content creation 
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and align diverse teams toward common goals.
  • Project Management: Adept at managing multiple projects and bringing structure to evolving processes.
  • Creative & Analytical: Eye for design and captivating visuals, paired with data-driven decision-making.
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, open to feedback and collaboration.
