About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced (Senior) HR Business Partner /  People Business Partner to work together with our leaders in Product and Technology organisation and  proactively challenge the status quo to co-create a nurturing, fair and compliant environment for our N26 team members. In this role, you will:

  • Create and maintain strong and trustful relationships with Business Leaders in the Technology and Product area
  • Provide expert advice on strategic people decisions and support them on cultural, organisational and business related topics and needs while coaching them and enhancing their own development as people leaders.
  • Implement and drive in your area global people initiatives, processes and programmes, e.g. talent management and succession, annual performance cycle, promotion process, leadership onboarding 
  • Drive and foster data-informed decisions within our team as well as our stakeholders
  • Follow up with managers and driving action plans to respond to engagement and proactively identify emerging people issues and trends within the business and work with your key stakeholders to formulate and implement solutions results
  • Foster leadership development activities in your business function either from a company wide program or specifically for your area
  • Cohesively work with the local Works Councils when and if required

What you need to be successful:

Background:

  • Several years of experience as HR Business Partner and proven ability to build, drive and design people programs. 
  • Experienced advisor to senior leadership with a proven track record of successfully partnering with business leaders to drive organizational and cultural change
  • Data-Driven Mindset: familiar with people analytics to identify trends, forecast workforce needs, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Previous experience in an international environment will be highly valued.

  • An ability to build effective relationships at all levels
    A growth mindset and agile approach to problem-solving
  • Highly developed analytical skills to deep dive, design, and land effective HR solutions
  • Ability to balance the needs of our people and the needs of the business
  • Coaching skills for both new and experienced managers, and their teams, to upskill them over time.
  • Well versed in conflict resolution, demonstrating excellent judgement skills
