Role Overview: As the Principal Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and overseeing our data architecture framework across multiple services and components. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and scalability of our trading systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust data solutions from scratch that support high-volume and high-velocity data.
- Lead the migration and integration of data across disparate systems, ensuring consistency and accessibility.
- Work closely with trading teams to understand their data needs and deliver high-performance data solutions.
- Develop strategies for data acquisition, warehousing, and data archival.
- Ensure data security and compliance with all regulatory requirements in the trading industry.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and address any issues related to data architecture.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data architecture, ideally in a high-frequency trading environment.
- Proven experience with columnar databases, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Strong familiarity with ClickHouse and its application in trading environments will be considered a significant advantage.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in the trading sector, particularly with real-time data processing and management.
- Solid knowledge of Python and data analysis frameworks like pandas and numpy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership skills and experience in leading large-scale data projects.
